Recovery Worker, Community and Crisis Hub (Bank)

Hourly rate £9.42

You will provide psychologically-informed, recovery-focused support to people with mental health and complex needs, including pre and post crisis, supporting individuals to engage in the service and to achieve their goals and aspirations.
 

Personal Assistant (Bank)

Hourly rate £8.06
 
You will work as part of a team to ensure the provision of a high-quality, stimulating and safe day opportunities service for people referred by the ASSD Older Persons’ and Physical Disability teams, gaining a good understanding of the strengths, wishes and needs of each person using the service and supporting them to make best use of facilities and opportunities available to all.

Employment Advisors

This is an exciting time to be joining Mind and becoming part of the partnership with the Norfolk & Suffolk Mental Health Foundation Trust delivering services within the provision of the Norfolk and Waveney Wellbeing Service.  The service is commissioned by the five CCG areas for five years to help people with mild to moderate mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.  Services will be provided from bases in Kings Lynn, Gt Yarmouth, Norwich and Wymondham for people aged 16 and over.  The successful applicants will be committed to delivering excellent support to those accessing the Wellbeing Service, be able to work within a team and be responsive and adaptive to change.
 
These roles are part of an employment advice service, working closely with people with common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression and their clinicians. The successful candidates will support clients to gain, return to or retain employment. The role will involve working directly with Jobcentre Plus, employers, trade unions and employment agencies to keep people in employment and secure employment opportunities.  The successful candidates will be highly organised, be able to work autonomously and with a creative and collaborative approach.

A full driving license and access to own transport is essential for this role.

Assistant Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners

 
£18,500 for period of contract
Full Time 37.5 hours
Fixed term contracts for 6 months
Roles are based in Great Yarmouth, King’s Lynn and Norwich
 

This is an exciting time to be joining Mind and becoming part of the partnership with the Norfolk & Suffolk Mental Health Foundation Trust delivering services within the provision of the Norfolk and Waveney Wellbeing Service.  The service is commissioned by the five CCG areas to help people with mild to moderate mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.  The jointly-managed service operates in line with the ‘stepped care’ model and the delivery of NICE approved psychological therapies ensuring smooth transitions between Steps 2 and 3.  Services are provided from bases in King’s Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Wymondham and Norwich for people aged 16 and over.  The successful applicants will be committed to delivering excellent support to those accessing the Wellbeing Service, be able to work within a team and be responsive and adaptive to change.
 
The service operates flexible working hours – 8am to 8pm.
 
We are looking for 5 people across Norfolk and Waveney to conduct telephone reviews for clients waiting for treatment and for those that have attended workshops and who may require further support to determine the best course of treatment with the guidance of experienced supervisors.  The successful candidates will also support the delivery of educational workshops attended by people living with anxiety and depression.
 
There may be opportunities in the future to apply for a trainee role as a Psychological
Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP).
 
We are looking for people who have energy and enthusiasm.  A good understanding or experience of mental health along with experience of supporting others is desirable but not essential.  The jobs also involve collecting and analysing feedback from clients for further service development, so good IT skills are also essential.  All candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
